Rebecca Nassar

I believe in the power of serving and the power of creating a strong community. I am relationship driven and love supporting and connecting people.

My formal education is a BS in Accounting and an MBA, and both were earned at University of Alabama at Birmingham.

I have had a wonderful and short career in accounting. My last role was as Controller at a private company. While at the peak of my career, I discovered my true calling and passion in life-Family.

Over the past twenty-three years, my husband and I have joyfully raised five amazing, talented, and independent children. Throughout motherhood, I was intentional to volunteer in the children’s schools. Once I became an empty nester, I commenced serving as Secretary for my Homeowners Association.

My favorite pastimes are hiking and walking with my husband and my friends. I love Yoga and Pilates to maintain my health and longevity.

It is a privilege to be a part of Magnolia Charities Board and to have the opportunity to work with a group of brilliant, altruistic, and dynamic people.
